Le collage agit comme un outil critique et narratif. Des fragments d’images changent d’échelle, se rencontrent et construisent des scènes qui pourraient être des architectures. Le croquis procède à l’inverse : il retient rapidement une lumière, une profondeur ou un mouvement observé. Ces pratiques parallèles prolongent le travail de projet en accordant autant d’importance au cadrage, au rythme et à la mise en scène qu’à l’objet représenté.
Collage acts as a critical and narrative tool. Fragments of images change scale, meet and construct scenes that could become architectures. Drawing works in the opposite direction: it quickly captures an observed light, depth or movement. These parallel practices extend architectural work by giving framing, rhythm and staging as much importance as the represented object.
